Tauranga-born Aesha Scott stars as the chief “stew” on Below Deck: Down Under season two.

Tauranga-born Below Deck star Aesha Scott knows she has the power to “make a difference” with her 591k strong Instagram-following.

The Kiwi reality star recently became an ambassador for Peace of Mind Foundation (POMF), an Australian not-for-profit organisation that provides support to brain cancer patients and their loved ones.

POMF’s mission is a cause close to Scott’s heart – her older brother, Reuben, died at age 24 from glioblastoma, an aggressive tumour that affects the brain. It is the most common form of brain cancer in New Zealand.

“I just don’t want anyone else to go through that or be in that situation,” Scott says.
