Former Emmerdale star Kris Mochrie recently opened up to fans about his beloved mum, revealing that if it wasn’t for a vital Coronation Street storyline, she wouldn’t be alive.

The actor, who played evil rapist Lee Posner, shared the love for his mum on his Instagram and told his followers that she had written an article in Woman & Golf magazine.

Kris’ mother speaks about how golfing helped her during her recovery from breast cancer, something she was only diagnosed with after watching the Coronation Street storyline that saw Sally Metcalfe (Sally Dynevor) find a lump in her breast.
