Why I Advocate for Clinical Trials as a Blood Cancer Survivor

Patient Power co-founder Andrew Schorr was a medical journalist long before he found himself in a clinical trial for a blood cancer. As a two-time cancer survivor, Andrew credits clinical trials – the two he participated in and the trials that developed the therapies he uses today – for allowing him to continue his work, travel with his wife and kids, and run after his young grandchildren. Andrew is an enthusiastic advocate for clinical trials and the possibility of joining another in the future is always a part of his treatment discussion with his MPN doctor.

My Life with Cancer - Hairy Cell Leukemia [Video]

It's a long video but I had a lot to say today. I put this video together so that others can understand what I've been through. I also put it together for those that have or might be affected by this rare blood cancer. What I've learned through my journey is that you just have to keep going! I say this a lot but I really mean it, thank you everyone for the love and support. Please share or donate to my GoFundMe: Cell Leukemia Foundation:
