Carmen Phaneuf: We made a decision. We were like, we need to do something while we're young, before we have kids. Let's do something. So we said, let's sail around the world. Well, we decided to just do the East Coast of the United States. My husband wasn't an avid sailor. I was. So, it took some time for him to get used to the boat, but it was a great thing to do.

I'm so happy we did that. A lot of people were saying, “Why don't you do that when you retire?” And knowing what I know now, and what I have, I would never be able to do that now. So, this is our sailing club, another happy place.
