The Chicago Bears reporter tragically passed away aged 44 recently. Fans sent and colleagues alike posted their condolences online and wanted to know more about Jeff Dickerson’s wife and son.
On Tuesday 28 December, Jeff Dickerson, who covered the Chicago Bears for ESPN, died aged 44. According to The New York Post, Dickerson died from complications of colon cancer.
According to the Bears’ website, Dickerson was a graduate of Buffalo Grove High School and the University of Illinois. He began covering the Bears for ESPN in 2001 and hosted “Dickerson and Hood” along with Jonathan Hood on the station. He also worked as a sports reporter for ABC Channel 7 in Chicago and served as a TV analyst for Loyola’s men’s basketball.
