Hi, my name is Amy. I’m an emergency medicine physician assistant. I like to be in the emergency room because you see a whole breadth of patients and a whole breadth of care and help people on a bad day to feel better.

When patients are coming to the emergency room, I realize that that is not the place that they would like to be. I hope that I can provide them with comfort while they’re there, provide them reassurance and get them the care that they need with empathy.

I grew up in Louisville Kentucky. I graduated from Sullivan University’s physician assistant program. From there, I worked in general surgery and gynecologic oncology. I’m excited to be in the emergency room to help patients on a bad day, and to see a whole plethora of diagnoses and to get people in the right place.

In my free time, my husband and I like to take our three young kids around town. We like to go to new parks, go to sporting events. We’re huge Louisville Cardinal fans. We also like to travel. We try to go to Mexico at least once a year.
