At a local barbershop, where clippers buzz and conversation flows, patrons shared memories of Simpson that stretch beyond the courtroom drama. For Kevin Wesley, Simpson’s legacy evokes images from the “The Naked Gun” rather than his football triumphs.

“O.J., his legacy is excellent,” Wesley remarked. “I remember him from ‘The Naked Gun,’ the movie with Leslie Nielsen.”
