Be Hopeful boxes extended to Spanish-speaking Nebraskans battling breast cancer [Video]

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – Bryan Health and Project Pink’d have teamed up to provide primarily Spanish-speaking Nebraskans diagnosed with breast cancer with custom messages of hope.

The “Be Hopeful” boxes include 31 cards filled with positive messages, one for each day of the month. The reverse side of each card gives survivors the chance to pay it forward by writing their own message and sharing the hope with their family, friends and community.

The messages in each box aim to serve as a beacon of hope for those on their path to healing from breast cancer.

The resource is already available in English, but with the new partnership and the help of the Nebraska Commission on Latino-Americans, the boxes will now be offered in Spanish. The Commission on Latino-Americans helped with the selection of messages and translation process.
