Bronco in famous OJ Simpson chase resides in East Tennessee [Video]

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) – After OJ Simpson died this week due to a long battle with prostate cancer, people are looking back on the history of his notorious murder case. One moment that glued nearly 95 million people to their television screens back in 1994, was Simpsons and Al Cowlings intense run from the police in Southern California.

While the OJ Simpson trial took place on the opposite side of the country, it still has ties to East Tennessee. In Pigeon Forge at the Alcatraz East Crime Museum, sits the famous 1993 Ford Bronco that they used to flee from police.

“It is cool to see these parents who say, ‘Oh my gosh it’s the Bronco I remember exactly where I was when the OJ Bronco chase happened,’ and sharing those stories and those memories with their kids as they go through the museum is really awesome to see.” Ally …
