Cardiac Amyloidosis – Management and Medication

There are several different ways to manage Cardiac Amyloidosis, depending on the type of amyloidosis a patient is diagnosed with. UC Davis Health physicians and pharmacists discuss the different treatment and medication options for light chain amyloidosis and transthyretin amyloidosis. These include tafamidis (ATTR stabilizer) and fibril disruptors (doxycycline, taurodeoxycholic acid, green tea extract).
