Champaign students making slime for a cause [Video]

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WCIA) — Children in one Champaign school are using a slimy recipe to raise money.

Judah Christian School students are paying homage to one of their own while raising money for her cause. Nine-year-old Calla Woods started selling homemade slime to support children in Romania, but she died of brain cancer before she could see her vision come true. Now, the school is using its International Missions Week to keep the “Look Out for the Left Out” event going.

Calla’s family continues to honor her mission and fundraise by selling slime, hosting school assemblies, and teaching students how to make Calla’s slime recipe themselves.
