Target Audience
This activity is targeted towards primary care providers (internists, IM/P, and family practitioners).

Statement of Need
Many clinicians do not routinely follow clinical practice guidelines or are unaware of new treatment modalities which will result in improved health outcomes. Providing education opportunities in targeted areas as well as adult specialty areas should improve a physician’s knowledge base and patient outcomes.

Objectives
At the conclusion of this offering, the participant will be able to:
• Discuss the evaluation process for cognitive impairment.
• Identify non-Alzheimer’s dementias.
• Review the management of the types of non-Alzheimer’s dementias.
