NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – The Crescent City Classic, an annual 10k race spanning 6.2 miles through the heart of New Orleans, demands resilience and determination. It is not for the feint of heart, but thankfully, Emma Ryan has plenty of heart to spare.
“I think people have choices when they wake up and say you know I’m going to listen to what everybody else tells me, I’m going to do this, I’m going to stay in bed or get up and actually do something. Show the world you’re capable of anything and I think Emma is a perfect example of that,” said Nicky Wood, Emma’s trainer.
With the support of her coach and the 321 Foundation, which is dedicated to empowering individuals with disabilities, Emma has forged ahead, defying expectations.
