Hi, I’m Greg Hart. I’m a nurse practitioner in the emergency department and I love my job because I like to take care of people.

My grandmother was an ER nurse and I have been in emergency medicine for about 15 years now, and I just really wanted to advance my career and have a little more autonomy. So I went back to school for a nurse practitioner. Did a rotation in the ER at a level one trauma center, and that kind of sealed the deal. High energy and everything’s different every day, and it’s a lot of fun.

I like to treat people the way that I would want myself to be treated or my family members to be treated. These people are going through a trauma at that time, so if I can do anything to help ease their mind, I’d like to do so. That way it makes their experience a lot easier and hopefully better.

I am from Cincinnati, Ohio. I went to Wright State in Dayton, Ohio for my undergrad, and I went to Bellarmine University for my grad school. I moved here because my wife graduated from Bellarmine and she is also a nurse. I take care of three wonderful children and we like to fly kites, we play Frisbee. So I coach soccer for my daughter. We like to hike and camp.
