Hollywood star slams Patrick Swayze as ‘difficult’ after 90s film [Video]

John Leguizamo has spoken out against Patrick Swayze’s ‘angelic’ reputation, branding him ‘insecure’ and ‘difficult’ to work with.

The Ice Age actor, 63, shared the screen with the late star in To Wong Foo, Thanks For Everything! Julie Newmar, which hit the big screen in September, 1995.

The flick showed the pair – joined by Wesley Snipes-  as three New York drag queens who set off on a cross-country road trip.

Swayze, who died in 2009 following a battle with pancreatic cancer, played Vida Boheme alongside Snipes’ Noxeema Jackson, while Leguizamo starred as their protégé, Chi-Chi Rodriguez

Stockard Channing, Blythe Danner, Julie Newmar, Michael Vartan and Robin Williams were also in the cast.

However, reflecting on his time on set during an appearance on SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live, Leguizamo claimed there were issues behind the scenes.

‘All I hear about Patrick Swayze was just what an absolute angel he was,’ the host began, before his guest quickly dispelled the rumors.
