Iconic 00s band reunite for special tour after death of bandmate [Video]

The Wanted’s Max George and Siva Kaneswaran have shared plans for a reunion, embarking on tour dates across India this May. 

While the pair won’t be joined by their other bandmates, it will be the first time The Wanted has performed in any iteration since 2022. 

The group stopped touring after the death of their bandmate Tom Parker, who died of glioblastoma brain cancer on March 30, 2022, at just 33 years old.

The British-Irish boy band formed in 2009 and was catapulted to international stardom with chart-topping hits such as Glad You Came and Chasing the Sun. 

Originally comprising Max George, Siva Kaneswaran, Tom Parker, Jay McGuiness, and Nathan Sykes, the group captivated audiences worldwide with their infectious pop anthems and magnetic stage presence. 

It remains unclear why McGuiness and Sykes won’t be performing with the band.
