Every month that I make it into remission is a milestone – and also an opportunity to reflect on how I got to 10 months of remissions and what I should hope for moving forward. Cancer is so volatile and damaging to our lives, that any return to normalcy is welcome – even if it requires more effort than it used to in order to feel like a rational human being.

In this stage 4 cancer vlog, I explain how I’m honing my ‘normalcy’ skills, how I’m stressing less and feeling glimpses of happiness – all while still being depressed, confused, and the appropriate negative emotions that go with an incurable stage 4 melanoma diagnosis.
