Innovative ctDNA-based liquid biopsy techniques for cancer diagnosis [Video]

Alain Thierry, PhD, INSERM U896 – IRCM, Montpellier, France, briefly comments on the breakthrough role of liquid biopsy technologies based on circulating DNA (cirDNA) analysis as a diagnostic tool for cancer detection. Blood sampling using cirDNA profiling allows for molecular genotyping and phenotyping of cancer cells, advancing current cancer screening methodologies. This interview took place at the 2024 American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) in San Diego, CA.
