Is the human brain getting bigger? [Video]

A new study from UC Davis Health, published in JAMA Neurology, found the surface of the brain is almost 15% larger for people born in the 1970s, compared to the 1930s. Researchers believe this could be good news for America’s aging population. Larger brain structures reflect improved brain development and brain health. This might help defend against diseases like Alzheimer’s later in life.
