Jonnie Irwin’s heartbreaking last Instagram post from hospital just days before losing his battle to cancer aged 50 [Video]

Jonnie Irwin last shared an Instagram post just six days before he lost his battle to cancer aged 50.

The A Place In The Sun presenter’s death was announced by his family on Friday, three and a half years after he was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer. 

Heartbreakingly, one of Jonnie’s last Instagram posts, on January 25 was of him in hospital. 

The Escape To The Country shared a photo of him in hospital where he revealed he hadn’t slept in almost a week, but was determined to keep fighting. 

Jonnie was at Newcastle’s Freeman Hospital for a full MRI scan.
