Kitsch hosting benefit concert for band member battling cancer [Video]

BRYAN, Texas — The student led rock band Kitsch has quickly risen to fame and have been playing at many local shows over the years.

However, the group received devastating news this past Christmas when one of their members, Trent Weaver, was diagnosed with leukemia.

Now, the group is hosting a benefit concert this Friday for their best friend, and guitarist. 

Jack Baddour, Kitsch’s Bassist, described Trent’s impact on his life, “Meeting someone like his who is very personable and very easy to get along with so quickly I feel like that alone was the first event that built my college experience, and little did we know throughout the next three years we would see each other at least once a day.
