Krewe of Kindness AMBUCS surprise bike giveaway inspiring mobility & independence [Video]

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – Strapping in — 11-Year-old Wimberly McLaney and 10-year-old Camdan Pancner thought they were coming to physical therapy at USA Health’s Strada Center. Instead — they were each surprised with a new adaptive bike. Both immediately getting on and taking off.

“I just can’t believe it — I’m very surprised by it. I think it’s a very nice bike — and I think it will help me accomplish a lot of stuff,” said Camdan.

Diagnosed with a form of brain cancer in 2020 — Camdan is slowly regaining his mobility.

“Lee: He got right back on it… And he took off. — I had to chase him. He said he’s going to ride his bike when he gets home — and I’m like I’m going to have to get running shoes now just to keep up with him,” said Andrew Pancner, Camdan’s dad.
