Letter to a Cancer Patient: Watch This if You’ve Been Diagnosed [Video]

If you’ve been diagnosed with cancer or someone who you care about has, this letter is for you.

I’ve been diagnosed twice in the last 6 years: stage 3c metastatic melanoma in 2018, and a stage 4 recurrence in 2023. That doesn’t make me an expert – nobody’s cancer experience is the same – from diagnosis, prognosis, life situation, treatment plan, and outcome. But I wish someone would have said these things to me when I first had to face this fucked up mess.

I started my cancer vlog almost exactly one year before making this video (357 days, to be exact – but who’s counting 😂). I didn’t learn all these things on my own. The cancer community has been so helpful to me, and all I want to do is give back.
