To monitor her condition, she has regular scans every three months. Her story of her diagnosis is interesting because she was initially diagnosed after a mole on their skin was biopsied and found to be malignant. This experience has given her a new perspective on life, emphasizing the importance of cherishing every moment, especially with her children.

Next we hear from Dan Engle, who was diagnosed with stage three melanoma in 1998 and has since experienced a recurrence that escalated to stage IV. Having undergone multiple treatments, including surgeries, radiation and participation in six clinical trials, Dan never lost his hope. He stresses the importance of developing a personal relationship with his doctors and sharing his journey to help others understand the process. His motivation? To see his children’s milestones. He believes that his purpose is to make the world a better place and assist others in similar situations.
