Luke Miller rings bell at Novant Health Hemby Children’s Hospital signaling end of treatment [Video]

Luke Miller has been undergoing cancer treatments for half of his life. In February, Luke rang the bell, marking the end of 2.5 years of treatment.

Through spinal taps and years of chemotherapy, Luke’s mom, Megan, says the child life specialists at Novant Health Hemby Children’s Hospital played a crucial role in making him feel at ease – even during the most challenging moments. Now, the Millers are reclaiming the power that cancer took away by advocating for pediatric cancer patients and writing a book for kids facing similar challenges.
