Make-A-Wish Foundation surprises seventh-grade brain cancer survivor with Disney World vacation [Video]

GULFPORT, Miss. (WLOX) – 14-year-old Arieal Wills, a seventh grader at Bayou View Middle School, has been battling brain cancer for much of her life.

However, she has never allowed the diagnosis to alter her outlook on her future and continues to push forward with her faith and dreams.

Wills is also currently in remission.

“I just keep telling myself that I’m a fighter,” Wills said.

The Make-A-Wish Foundation has now made one come true by sending her to Disney World.

On Wednesday, Make-A-Wish South Mississippi surprised her with a special send-off at her classroom. Wills was greeted by the school’s cheer team and gifted Mickey Mouse-themed cupcakes.

“She’s smart as a whip and she’s very friendly and outgoing and so positive,” Cindy Kenny with Make-A-Wish South Mississippi said. “She’s such an inspiration with all she’s been through and all the families have been through. They just remain positive.”
