My name is Patricia Rodriguez-Lozano. I’m a cardiologist and a cardiac imager by training. I’m the Director of the Women Heart Care Program and Associate Program Director for the Cardiovascular Fellowship. Growing up in Lima Peru, I was surrounded by a close-knit community that value looking out for each other. Seeing how some people struggle with health problems while others didn’t have access to proper care made me want to make a difference in healthcare. Plus, seeing my own family deal with health issues and be inspired by my dad who is a gynecologist back home, made me passionate about helping others through medicine.
I’m really passionate about making sure women have healthy hearts and that everyone gets equal access to healthcare. Through my work in research and clinical care, I’m dedicated to finding better ways to treat heart problems in women.
