Claire Van Vliet, MD, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, Amsterdam, The Netherlands, discusses the potential role for magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)-guided radiotherapy in the pre-operative setting to treat breast cancer. MRI of breast cancer prior to surgery can provide information on tumor growth and delineation that may inform targeted radiotherapy before surgery. This interview took place at the 14th European Breast Cancer Conference (EBCC) in Milan, Italy.
