Michael started experiencing major exhaustion and terrible night sweats. After seeing his family pediatrician for blood work, he was referred to a specialist for a bone marrow biopsy. At first, they had no idea what kind of cancer Michael had, but the doctors were preparing him for chemotherapy treatment any way. A few weeks later, Michael was diagnosed with Hepatosplenic T-cell lymphoma, a very rare and aggressive type of non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma.

He shares how he underwent a life saving bone marrow transplant, how he’s still dealing with graft-versus-host disease (GvHD), and the treatment he is still on.
