Loose Women panellist Nadia Sawalha‘s candidness, passion and warmth are well known as she highlights issues that are close to her heart on the show. Her latest campaign is a poignant and heartfelt crusade to secure a life-saving breast cancer drug for patients such as her friend Hannah Gardner.

Speaking exclusively to Express.co.uk the thespian and TV star explained why the two women are taking part in a round table with parliment next month to try and get a drug called Enhertu approved for use on English breast cancer patients. It is already available to Scottish patients but in England Nadia says they have downgraded Metastic Breast Cancer to a moderate illness meaning that the drug is not deemed necessary.
