NBA Great Jamal Mashburn Raises Awareness For Colorectal Cancer [Video]

Former NBA All Star Jamal Mashburn was an inspiration on the court and is now helping save lives off the court by raising awareness for Colorectal Cancer. A cancer that is more prevalent in men and African American men to be specific. Jamal shared with Idaho Today’s Mellisa Paul that his mother battled colorectal cancer while he was at the top of his game playing for the NBA as an All Star. He said his mother went to the hospital with what she thought was a stomach aliment and left with a colorectal cancer diagnosis.
