Ninja is now cancer free a week after first diagnosis [Video]

Twitch streamer Ninja has announced he’s officially cancer free, after being diagnosed with melanoma.

Ninja, real name Tyler Blevins, shocked the streaming community when he shared his cancer diagnosis on Twitter last week.

The Twitch star, who is most known for playing Fortnite, after an early career as a professional Halo player, announced on March 26 he had been diagnosed with melanoma, after doctors removed a mole on his foot.

Ninja explained at the time that he was awaiting results regarding another ‘dark spot’, to see if the melanoma had spread, and now he’s shared a positive update following that diagnosis.

‘Just got the news from my dermatologist, great news x2!’ he wrote on Twitter. ‘Excision was successful with clear margins. Lesion biopsied nearby showed only mild atypia and was entirely removed with the biopsy.
