Olivia Munn Reveals She Had Breast Cancer, Underwent Double Mastectomy [Video]

Olivia Munn shared a heartbreaking health update.

On Tuesday, the 43-year-old actress revealed that she privately battled breast cancer in 2023 and had a double mastectomy.

“I was diagnosed with breast cancer,” she wrote on Instagram. “I hope by sharing this it will help others find comfort, inspiration and support on their own journey.”

Munn’s post lead with a selfie of her in a hospital bed wearing a purple gown. In the following slides, Munn was candid about her diagnosis, which she received in 2023.

“In February of 2023, in an effort to be proactive about my health, I took a genetic test that checks you for 90 different cancer genes,” she wrote in a statement. “I tested negative for all, including BRCA (the most well-known breast cancer gene).
