Pancakes for Police event helps fight cancer [Video]

NORFOLK, Va. — With the help of the Norfolk Police Department and local non-profit “Paint Pink,” Police Sergeant Dallas Greeson found support in her battle against cancer.

The news of her diagnosis came shortly after a moment of celebration — Greeson started a new role with the Police Department, but a routine check-up revealed the lung cancer diagnosis.

On Saturday, fellow Police Officers and Paint Pink came together to fundraise for Greeson and others fighting cancer. “We want to pay it forward, we know the police always support us during times of need, we wanted to help support them in times of need,” a member of Paint Pink said.
