Popular 101 The Fox radio DJ Slacker dies from cancer [Video]

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – A radio voice in Kansas City for several years has passed away.

101 The Fox announced on Wednesday morning that disc jockey Slacker died Tuesday night from complications of AML – acute myeloid leukemia.

“Slacker had two great passions, his family, and his time on the air in Kansas City. For over 33 years, the last 16 at 101 The Fox, Slacker loved to entertain his radio audience,” the radio station stated.

A post on the station’s website relayed that he leaves behind his wife Jennifer and daughter Brianna.
