Princess Beatrice says her mother Sarah Ferguson is ‘all clear now’ after ‘bumpy health scare’ following cancer diagnosis [Video]

Princess Beatrice has said that her mother is ‘all clear’ following a ‘bumpy health scare last year’.

The royal, 35, told ITV‘s This Morning that Sarah Ferguson is ‘thriving’ at 64, after being diagnosed with breast cancer and skin cancer within a span of only months.

She told the programme that both her and her sister Princess Eugenie are ‘so proud’ of her for ‘getting the checks that she needs to get’ and have ‘modelled their own health considerations on that’.

‘We have to support each other when anyone goes through a health scare,’ she added. ‘There’s nothing more important than family.’

Beatrice was speaking from the top of the Empire State Building in New York for an event in partnership with the charity Outward Bound. MailOnline has reached out to Buckingham Palace and Sarah’s Trust for comment.
