According to the latest study from the Ohio State University’s Comprehensive Cancer Center, colorectal cancer rates are steadily increasing in people 30, 40 and 50 years of age, even as they are noticeably decreasing in older people. They say this is largely due to the prevalence of early cancer screening in older adults which helps prevent full development of the disease.

“It’s definitely not what you think you’re going to get diagnosed with at 43 years old,” commented cancer survivor Will Triplett.
