Royal Biographer Ingrid Seward says Prince Harry returning to the UK could be “rather unhelpful,” as King Charles begins his cancer treatment.

The Palace confirmed the disease, which is not prostate cancer, was discovered while the King was being treated in hospital for an enlarged prostate. The Palace declined to confirm the type of cancer.

The Duke of Sussex has spoken with the King about his cancer diagnosis and will travel to the UK to see him in the coming days, a source close to Harry said.

The Prime Minister has wished the King a “full and speedy recovery” and said he will no doubt “be back to full strength in no time”.

Ingrid says: “I don’t think Harry is going to be particularly welcomed with open arms.”
