Colorectal cancer is the third most common cancer in the United States, and it’s estimated that 130,000 new cases are diagnosed each year. It affects people of all racial and ethnic groups and is most often found in people aged 45 and older. Six out of 10 deaths from colorectal cancer could be prevented if everyone ages 45 and up received regular screenings.
