Cancer is a devastating diagnosis for families. It’s nothing they ever want to have to walk through. On top of that, insurance companies reject lifesaving treatment every day.
However, many local families tell FOX23 they’re thankful to have St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital to take care of their child during their darkest moments.
FOX23 recently traveled to the hospital in Memphis and learned why doctors say it’s the very best place for them to do their work finding a cure for childhood cancer.
We spoke to a doctor at St. Jude who says there’s no red tape and they can do what’s best to save kids’ lives.
