Chip’s Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma Story [Video]

Chip was diagnosed with follicular lymphoma, a form of non-Hodgkin lymphoma, and received initial lines of treatment. When recurring stomach pains sent him back to his oncologist’s office, he learned that his cancer had grown, and the tumor had transformed into a more aggressive type of lymphoma: large B-cell lymphoma. Chip and his wife Angela learned about CAR T-cell therapy from his oncologist, and Angela began researching CAR T. They decided to enroll Chip in a clinical trial with the support of his doctor. Chuck’s Follicular Lymphoma Story [Video]

After receiving a follicular lymphoma diagnosis, Chuck underwent multiple rounds of chemotherapy. His cancer went into remission, but about a year later, it returned. He was referred to an oncologist at an academic cancer center to discuss his options, and his doctor mentioned CAR T-cell therapy. Chuck did his own research and became excited about this potential treatment option. With the support of his oncologist, Chuck enrolled in a CAR T-cell therapy clinical trial.
