Teen cancer survivor seeks your support to help others [Video]

A Baltimore County teenager has overcome the odds as she survived a heart transplant and beat cancer at an early age. She’s now hoping people can help her raise money for charity. A group of young ladies in Essex, some of them friends from Eastern Technical High School, couldn’t be more motivated in their final push to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Maryland. Some of them are from dance, and together, they created “Team Hearts, Beating Cancer” while competing in the “Student Visionary of the Year” campaign. It’s a personal experience for the group, especially sophomore Bridget Diveley, a cancer survivor who serves as the inspiration for the ladies.
