The Best: Woman surprises husband battling cancer with Tina Turner flash mob [Video]

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU/Gray News) – Arliss and Edward LeBere found each other late in life, but after being married less than two years, they received the worst news.

Edward LeBere was diagnosed with a brain cancer called glioblastoma.

The average glioblastoma survival time is 12 to 18 months, with only 25% of patients surviving more than one year and only 5% surviving over five years.

Arliss LeBere said the Anchorage, Alaska, couple doesn’t have a lot of money, and her husband had to leave his job for all his surgeries.

It’s been tough, the couple said, but Arliss LeBere wanted to let her husband know how much she loves him on their Feb. 22 wedding anniversary.

So, she sent out a call on social media to see if any local dance organizations could help her put together a flash mob to their favorite song, “The Best,” by Tina Turner.
