Tippecanoe County Sheriff’s Department makes local boy’s wish come true | News [Video]

TIPPECANOE COUNTY, IND. (WLFI) — A local 10 year old boy battling Leukemia had his wish come true Wednesday.

Liam Ricketts’ wish was to ride along with a police officer, and the Tippecanoe County Sheriff’s Department made this wish a reality. 

His day consisted of meeting the K-9’s, handling robots, and a long-awaited ride around the county. His ride included visiting his school and his favorite part of the day, listening to the police radio.

Liam’s mother said that he has always had a fascination with police cars.

During his time on the job, he was sworn in as a temporary deputy.
