A HEARTBROKEN widower took his own life after using his late wife’s cancer medicine, an inquest has heard.
Adam Thompson, 39, was “devastated” after losing his wife Lucy to cancer and “didn’t know how to go on without her”.
The father-of-three had been Lucy’s primary carer during her five-year battle with breast cancer.
His beloved wife “was everything to him” and after her death Adam “was not himself”.
In a tribute to him read out in court, his family said: “Adam and Lucy were totally devoted to each other, and Lucy was everything to Adam.
“Lucy became ill with cancer and Adam supported Lucy throughout her long five-year battle with cancer.
