Women had a fun night for a good cause [Video]

MARIETTA, Ohio (WTAP) – Women from around the Mid-Ohio Valley came together for a fun night and a good cause on Friday.

The Washington County Multipurpose Building was filled with women dancing and having a good time at the ninth annual BrAva Mom Prom.

During the charity event, a donation was presented to CureSearch which is an organization that is working on cures for childhood cancers.

Money raised is also going towards BrAva Fight which financially helps families affected by childhood cancer.

The event also honored mothers with children who battled childhood cancer.
