A first-person account of a rectal cancer diagnosis and subsequent treatments including: chemotherapy and radiation treatment, rectum and tumour removal, creation of an ileostomy and ileostomy reversal. Stage 2 initially, then after pathology, Stage 1. Occurs throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.
