Babbos Italian Eatery holding fundraiser for cancer research [Video]

PHOENIX (3TV/CBS 5) — Are you already thinking about lunch or dinner? Don’t worry, you can have a delicious meal today — all for a great cause!

On Thursday, customers can head over to Babbo’s Italian Eatery for “Baseball for Babbo Day,” where 100% of proceeds go toward cancer research. All of the profits are going to The Seena Magowitz Foundation and HonorHealth Research Institute.

Ian Schwartz stopped by the 16th Street and Glendale location to speak with Taylor Schultz, who’s father, Ken, inspired the day of giving. Ken is the founder of Babbo and sadly passed away from pancreatic cancer several years ago. “If you come in, dine with us, buy a gift card, get some take out, all of the profits today are going to help fund pancreatic cancer research,” Taylor said.
