Belle Gibson, the shameless conwoman who lied about having cancer to promote her food app, has lashed out at reporters telling them to ‘have some humanity’.
The infamous Melbourne fraudster, who spun an elaborate lie that her terminal brain cancer was cured by a healthy diet, was recently confronted by A Current Affair over her failure to pay her huge fines.
Gibson was fined $410,000 by the Federal Court in 2017 for lying about having cancer when promoting her Whole Pantry app and cookbook in the media.
It is believed Gibson is still yet to pay her debts, which ballooned to over $500,000 due to interest.
Aside from briefly joining an Ethiopian diaspora group, Gibson has managed to keep out of the spotlight in recent years.
That is, until she recently ran into Channel Nine’s Sam Cucchiara at a service station.
