Cancer Screenings Leads to Lives Saved – Erie News Now [Video]

Close to 100 people were proactive on Saturday, putting their health first at AHN Cancer Screening event.

For one man, attending a past screening event led to an early cancer diagnosis.

AHN’s Cancer Screening Event on Myrtle Street brought people out to get checked for different kinds of cancer, from head and neck, to skin cancer, even breast cancer.

Tiffany Koss, the Supervisor Nurse Practitioner for the AHN Cancer Screening Program said, “Yeah, happy that we have found some cancers and found some cancers early on, so that we can get that cancer taken care of and patient on with their lives.”

Because of events like these at AHN’s Cancer Institute, people’s lives were saved, catching cancer early and getting it treated.
